Lebanon frequently features in the news because of its political and ethnic tensions, both internally and with bordering nations. Approximately 40% of the population live in traditionally Christian communities, while 60% live in Muslim communities.
The cross-cultural work
Milard and Joyce Sleiman work with the local churches in Lebanon to develop ministry partnerships and mentor leaders. In affiliation with the Baptist Convention of Lebanon, they are involved in reaching youth and young adults with the message of Christ through events and home groups.
