The people group

The IS people are concentrated on an island in South East Asia. They practice community and family solidarity, which ties in with their Islamic beliefs. Most IS people are farmers, traders or factory workers.
Primary religion: Islam

The cross-cultural team

Through their day-to-day contacts, the team meets people who struggle with issues such as poverty, disharmony, demonic torment, troubled dreams and spiritual confusion. They spend a lot of time talking with people, hearing their stories and, if requested, praying with them. They have found on many occasions that God communicates with people of this culture through visions and dreams.
