Norm and Karen travel around their 1,050km “block” about 20 times a year in their Toyota Landcruiser, which means a lot of time on the road!

They visit the churches at Yuendumu which is 300km out along the Tanami Road.  Then they drive onto Willowra which is another 160km down the road.  Next they head through the Tanami Desert, via Jarra Jarra, for 215km to get them to Ali Curung.  Finally their return trip to Alice Springs means another 375km on the road.  Phew!

Each of these 20 trips per year costs $500 in fuel, car maintenance and tyres, but it is well worth the cost to support and nurture the church leaders.
