Details

Jackie hopes to join the team in Central Asia towards the end of 2012.  When she arrives, she will immediately commence studying the local language and will focus on this full time for several months before commencing working at the Learning English and Culture Centre.  Jackie will attend a local language school each weekday, and will spend lots of time practising her new skills with her team mates and out in the local community.  She will also take part in a cultural inquiry program which will require her to write a monthly report about observing and inquiring into the local culture.

Jackie is committed to gaining an understanding of the language and culture of the community in which she will live for a year.  Help cover the costs of her language classes.
