Details

Arthur lives on the fourth floor of an apartment block in the capital of Cambodia, in a two bedroom apartment which he rents.  He loves his home, and especially loves the location!  It is located within walking distance of the markets, which are a bustling hive of activity.  He is also within walking distance of the local shopping centre, gym and the language school he attends.

Arthur's Khmer caretaker and his family don't speak English.  Interacting with them has been  helpful for Arthur's language acquisition and cultural experience. He has also been able to connect and develop a warm friendship with a group of tuk-tuk drivers who regularly park in front of Arthur's apartment block.  Arthur practices his Khmer language with them, regularly shares meals with them and has been to a number of social gatherings.

Having somewhere to live is a necessity for keeping Arthur safe and comfortable,.  It is also significant in terms of his immersion into Cambodian life.  Help cover the cost of his rent.
