Cross-Cultural Workers

Each year, a number Papua New Guinean pastors who are competent in English are able study at the Christian Leaders Training College.  This project assists in providing small scholarships towards their costs.

The number of Baptist pastors studying at the college varies from year to year.   Last year 3 Baptists graduated.  Course levels available for study include Certificate (1 or 2 years full time), Diploma (3 years full time), Bachelor degree (4 years full time) and Masters level (part time modules).

Global Interaction has a close ongoing relationship with the Baptist Union of Papua New Guinea (BUPNG), which administers and facilitates the distribution of gifts to where they are needed for students’ support.  Both Global Interaction and the BUPNG are committed to seeing Baptist pastors well trained and equipped for their roles.
