Jane does a wonderful job supporting Lindsay in his role at the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary, plus his writing and church involvement.  But Jane is also involved in her own ministry to a number of women in her local community.  She meets up with female friends and acquaintances to encourage them in their marriages, their relationships with their children and to encourage some to know the Gospel and of God’s love for them.  She says that mostly she listens and, if asked, provides advice and words of encouragement, but it’s mostly about listening and being available.

The women Jane ministers to come from a variety of backgrounds and levels of faith, and they are all dealing with either difficult marriage issues or need help developing their parenting skills.  Jane meets up with them over lunch, afternoon tea, or chats on the phone, and babysits sometimes as well to help out and show her love.

Your support of this project will help cover Jane’s costs associated with reaching out to her friends, such as transport and cups of tea and coffee.
