Cross-Cultural Workers

Early in 2012, Richard and Maxine will attend the Transition Training (TT) course as part of their preparation for cross-cultural service.

TT is a live-in course which runs for 10 days, and provides practical experience in many of the skills necessary for making an effective transition to another culture.  It will be a challenging time for Richard and Maxine, as well as the other participants!

They will be kept busy with reading prior to the course, the intense 10 days that they are at TT, and lots of time to reflect afterwards.  Transition Training, along with the other courses Richard and Maxine will undertake as part of their preparation for cross-cultural service, is an extremely important part of their preparation for serving in Thailand, so this project is a great way to partner with them even before they get to Thailand.
