Ayla's Story
Ayla became a follower of Jesus when she was 21. She continues to feel truly blessed that she had someone in her life to share God’s greatest gift: Jesus. This is where her passion for least-reached people has stemmed from: a firm belief that everyone should have the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus.
Ayla has known since her first day of school that she wanted to be a teacher and loves teaching and children of all ages. She is currently working as a grade four teacher at a local school. Last year, Ayla saw that Global Interaction was seeking teachers as part of their Gi6pro program. God opened her heart and showed her how she could use her teaching to serve Him and help the least-reached people.
Ayla is heading to Mozambique, where she will spend two years helping Global Interaction team families with their children’s education. She will also have plenty of opportunities to engage with her neighbours.
She has had many wonderful experiences so far on her journey and is excited to see God’s plan unfold.
Ayla is currently building a partnership team to support her prayerfully and financially with her work in Mozambique. If you would like to arrange for her to visit your church or small group, please contact the WA State Office.
