Roger's Story
Roger is our part-time Consultant
for Leadership Development. For seven years he and Barbara served in Zambia, where Roger played a significant part in
establishing the inter-denominational Theological College of Central Africa.
Roger consults with Global
Interaction’s cross-cultural teams about cultural awareness and communicating
the message of Jesus cross-culturally. He has developed an anthropological
seminar which he conducts during visits to teams.
He is also researching how best to
disciple groups of new believers and develop a strong spiritual leadership. The
aim is to support Global Interaction teams in this important area of work.
The leaders of established church
groups value Roger’s input as he encourages them to find ways of training that
are locally sustainable, often through non-residential extension courses. Roger
also teaches in some training programs.
Roger and Barbara have two adult
children.
