Cross-Cultural Workers

Scott and Rebekah love to journey through life with people, empowering them to walk in the freedom and hope that is found in Christ. They desire to be God’s hands, feet and voice in sharing his story through word, sign and deed with those most in need.

Bek spent 2007-2009 living and working with the Yao in Mozambique. During this time, she developed a deep affinity with a number of Yao women and their children. This allowed her many opportunities to share personal life and faith, and God’s wisdom and power in a myriad of circumstances. 

During the two years Bek was away, Scott was also able to spend three months in Mozambique, helping with the building of a team house and experiencing firsthand the work God is doing among the Yao. With strong practical abilities, not only did he enjoy the challenge of the physical environment, but connected with the people and saw a place where the experiences of his life can be a conduit of God’s hope and freedom.

Having married in 2009 upon Bek’s return to Australia, Scott and Bek look forward to their new challenge of journeying together with God and the Yao as they discover how their gifts will best continue to serve God in Mozambique.

Scott and Rebekah are currently building a partnership team to support them prayerfully and financially with their work in Mozambique. If you would like to arrange for them to visit your church or small group, please contact your State Office.
