Details

Project Code: ABan106

In 2018 Mat and Shannon and their family will be moving to the Northern Territory to join the Outback team. As they settle in to a new home and build relationships within the local communities, the most effective way of doing this is by learning the local culture and language. This is a key part of integrating into community life. By learning the way of life and speaking the heart language of their local friends, Mat and Shannon and their family will be able to share in day-to-day life activities as well as build deeper relationships.

Practically speaking, they plan to spend a few hours each day, five days a week, in formal language learning on top of their daily interactions in community life. This project covers the cost of resources and the language nurturers’ time and expertise.

Gifts to this project are NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE.‚Äč

By contributing to this project, you will not only be contributing to the practical costs associated with learning a language but also to their ministry effectiveness.
