As parents, Scott and Bek greatly appreciate the accessibility of the Australian health system. In Northern Mozambique there are limited medical services and those that are accessible can be expensive. Bulk-billing is not an option. Considering their young children and the prevalence of unfamiliar bugs in Mozambique, Scott and Bek need to keep on top of regular check-ups and taking medication where required.

If a serious medical situation arises, emergency evacuation insurance is also in place for all the families serving in Mozambique. This emergency evacuation insurance has been a life-line in the past and will give Scott and Bek the assurance that, should a serious injury or a life-threatening event occur, they can be evacuated quickly to a place where they can access experienced medical personnel and services.

By supporting this annual project, you will be covering the cost of their healthcare in Mozambique and insurance in the unlikely event of an emergency so that they can remain and serve among the Yawo people of Mozambique.

This is an annual project. Any gifts received above the target amount will contribute to next year's budget.

Gifts to this project are NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
