This five day course is for anyone keen to explore the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of intercultural mission alongside passionate students, pastors and mission practitioners. 

This course is for you if you want to:

  • Further understand the mission of God 
  • Develop practical skills for effective local and global ministry
  • Discern a call to intercultural or local ministry 
  • Learn and reflect before and after short-term mission experiences 
  • Be equipped in your ministry through meaningful professional development

  • The course runs from 13 - 17 July 2020 across Australia
  • Session times are 11am - 4pm (East Coast) / 10:30am - 3:30pm (NT and SA) / 9am - 2pm (WA), including a one hour break.
  • Four, one-hour sessions each day will be facilitated using Zoom. The interactive sessions will include input, breakout rooms and reflection times.
  • Face-to-face ‘hubs’ will meet in capital cities and regional areas. The hubs will watch the Zoom sessions together and discuss learnings during breaks and over lunch. Online hubs will also be formed for some sessions.
  • Cost is $100 inc GST ($70 for concession or students), or $20 per day.

While we hope that face-to-face hubs can meet in person, this will be subject to each state’s Covid restrictions at the time. Where groups do meet face-to-face, Covid-safe arrangements will be made. This will include limiting size of groups and managing physical distancing.

The team of facilitators will be joined by intercultural workers and local mission practitioners who will present case studies about current issues.
