Giving Thanks - Silk Road Area

Tuesday 28 Jan

Team Leader Eliza shares an update from the Silk Road Area.

Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. Psalm 47:1-2.
"The Lord, the Most High, has encouraged and sustained the Silk Road Area team for many years. Through learning language, making friends, teaching English and doing some agricultural related work we see God’s hand at work.

Now, by God’s grace and the faithful partnership of Australian churches, two families are being sustained and established among this K community. We are so thankful for the English Centre and how it has given us a legitimate reason for living and working in this town. Petra’s work through the Allied Health and Disability Inclusion project has already been a blessing to a number of families of children with disabilities. And now David has new opportunities to reach men through his workshop, the Agricultural Innovation project, where we long to see men work alongside each other, sharing spiritual truths.

Please pray for us as we continue to build relationships within the community and look for opportunities to share more deeply with our friends.”
