Bill and Pauline have been serving in remote Northern Territory communities since the start of 2009, working predominantly with two people groups – the Warlpiri people of Lajamanu and the Gurindji people of Kalkaringi. From 2015 - 2018, they also worked in the Central Australian communities of Willowra, Ali-Curung and Yuendumu.
Over the years they have seen many come to Christ, growing in confidence as they mature in their walk with Jesus. Their heart is to encourage the Indigenous church leaders, assisting and training them in leadership, discipleship and Bible Study. Bill and Pauline are committed to building relationships, teaching and equipping leaders as well as mentoring prospective leaders. They provide leadership training and discipleship through Bible study, one on one mentoring and weekend bush training camps.
Over the next few years, Bill and Pauline will continue to serve in the remote communities of Kalkaringi and Lajamanu, providing training, facilitating short-term Xposure teams, sitting with and listening to the folk in their own setting and continuing to empower the communities to follow Jesus in their own distinctive way.
