Luke and Rachel, and their three children, Isaac, Tahlia and Michaela, have served among Global Interaction's team in Cambodia since 2018.
Luke has a background in banking, economics and as a Baptist pastor. Furthermore, he has previously served as State Director for Global Interaction SA/NT. Rachel is a speech pathologist, who specialises in working with children with disabilities. The children attend an international school in Siem Reap. Isaac enjoys basketball and computer games. Tahlia enjoys art, reading and swimming. Michaela enjoys art and rollerblading.
Luke volunteers at a local village school in the community garden, and is hoping to expand his opportunities to teach English within local family contexts. He also serves as the Cambodian Team Leader. Rachel volunteers for an organisation that provides therapy for children with disabilities helping to upskill staff. She also spends time talking with women in the village near their home, and in the early morning exercise class in town.
Luke and Rachel are passionate about sharing Jesus with their Khmer friends, and continue to study and learn Khmer culture and language so that they can share Jesus effectively with their Khmer friends and neighbours.
Luke and Rachel are thankful for all those who partner with them and pray for you all just as they know you are praying for them.
