DISABILITY SUPPORT – SOUTH ASIA

Friday 01 Jul

A girl receives treatment to walk.

Silpa’s youngest daughter Anna was born with a club foot which was going to incapacitate her for the rest of her life. Silpa was put in contact with Mr S, Disability Services Resource Officer employed by Global Interaction’s partner NGO, who made various enquiries and was able to organise free surgery for Anna. The team organised all the transport and follow-up treatment and Anna now has normal feet and legs! As she gets older she should be able to
walk like any other child.

Give thanks for Mr S; his love of Jesus and enthusiasm to empower those with special needs, and their families, to seek out assistance available and to help the South Asia team better develop programs to more effectively meet the needs of all B people they serve among. « Back to News
